I dislike online classes.

I really do.

Expanding on this, I especially have trouble being responsible with an online course if it’s rather difficult. It’s odd how despite most of my social interactions the past decade has been computer based, I lacked any motivation to really utilize that in this electronic classroom.

Granted, I’ve never been one to look for help but this experience has helped me understand myself a bit more in that I prefer direct engagement with a physical presence in a class.

I’m seeing Spider talk appearing on my dash.

I do my best to release animals that enter the house rather then squish them. Every living thing has a spark of life contained in it and being responsible for blowing out that life bothers me a little, even if it’s a small fly. That’s my personal philosophy to avoid killing critters if I can. I will respect an animal that is especially dangerous and take all precautions to removing it from my vicinity while reducing my risks of it hurting me but to just chop it to pieces and discard it seems too brutal and simple of a solution for me.

I’ll only kill an animal if a person is in mortal danger where there’s no other option but if they’re just wandering into my home and they’re easy to avoid and release, I prefer to just let them on their merry way.

I honestly wasn’t too sure what to make of these characters of this game after seeing people get up in arms over them. I agree that they all looked ridiculous to me (Though I thought the Amazon Chick with the axe was kinda a bamf with those awesome, rippling muscles). Take a break. Step away from drawing for a bit. Go outside, do other things and maybe even do other artistic outlets, like music, crafts of some sort or whatever! You’ve just finished a busy semester. Take a break from drawing!

And try reminding yourself of the passion you had for it. Look into getting a few art books of different artists and find some inspiration from old masters. Being in a constant mode of creativity is hard and needs to be revitalized after a long while of diligent work!

Just because something has been put on the internet and can be viewed, copied, and distributed for free, it does not mean it does not belong to it’s creator. They included it without his permission, and are profiting off of it.

The creators of Game of Thrones don’t actually own it because anyone can watch an episode and share gifs of the characters online on their blogs.

FINE I’LL GIVE IT A LOOK THIS WEEKEND

TBH I haven’t read the whole beginning. I jumped into it at the middle by accident but wow that did little to deter me from getting emotionally into the story of this confused and directionless boy.

It is a very dark story and it gets pretty heavy/disturbing as it continues towards the latest chapters. As far as I know, the character has an incredibly low self-esteem about himself and due to his detachment from most people, he understands them very little and believes there is something wrong with him due to how people tend to react to his actions. This is perhaps the reason why we see him as a bird that’s highly delicate and pathetically drawn. It’s a visual contrast to the normal appearance of the world around him, highlighting how different he feels he is from everyone. It’s a very personal story that I can tell the author puts himself into a lot.

I discovered it at random and got hooked.

I liked this movie. It was a simple watch and the scenery/world-building was memorable. It’s a similar complaint as the Metropolis anime in which I loved the world and artwork/animation but the story and characters left something to be desired. A lot of folks seemed to herald it as the worst movie around but I wonder if it’s just because of the high expectations for a movie from Ghibli to be consistently great.

It’s not their best and it’s not a great first impression of Miyazaki’s son. I hope he finds his voice, whether it means deviating from his father’s story-telling abilities or discovering his own because I don’t think he’s terrible at what he does. He needs a better grip on characters and plot, but his visual direction is pretty good I think!

Man, NONE of the characters are as cool as Peacock. I don’t even say that because she’s retro looking. She’s by far the most interesting and engaging character in the series.
